Description:
SBA Desiree is a first class young female . Her birth weight was a whopping 20.5lbs and she gained more than double that weight within a month. Large framed with good bone substance, she grows fibre with good staple length and well defined crimp along the entire staple. Her fleece feels very fine and there is no colour contamination. She comes with an outstanding pedigree. Her sire is an athletic built macho proofing his strong fibre genetics with consistent quality offspring that are being recognized in the Canadan Show Ring. Her dam is a large female retaining desirable fibre qualities at 5 years old. Both sire and dam have a calm disposition and this applies to Desiree as well.
Her quality in fleece and conformation is rewarded with
Best of Age in Composite and 1st. in Fleece at the Navan Fair Alpaca Show as well as Reserve Champion Female at PacaFiesta 2006 with the unyielding judge Jude Anderson.
Her half sibling Delphina received show ring recognition with 'Grand Champion' at PacaFiesta 2005, judged by Dr. J.Sumar and C.Merkley and 'Reserve Best of Age' in 2005 at Alpaca Ontario Show, judged by Mike Safley and 3rd in class at Alpaca Ontario Show 2006, judged by Amanda Vandenbosch.
